Then select the block inside your drawing and hit enter. Right click on your icon on the pallet and select "set image from selection". The way that we have found to get your icon/preview back for Block A is to drag and drop the AEC content block from the design center into a blank drawing. However, if you are changing your background colors around when you make your AEC content, the background color does not show up on the pallet in either case, but will show up in the design center. When I drag Block B across and drop it onto a pallet the icon shows up and the name of the block shows up. When I drag Block A across and drop it onto a pallet the icon does not show up, just the block name shows up. Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on multiple different layers Scale per drawing, Enable AEC scaling, layer key "0", saved in current drawing Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on "0" layer Here are the two that confuse me on the output. I have created many different iterations of blocks selecting several different combinations of options. I'm sorry ahead of time if this post gets lengthy we have been trying to figure this out for a bit as well. Some of us are using ADT 2006 and some of us are using ABS 2006 and the problem occurs in both programs. First off I'll tell you what I've discovered so far. We have yet to find a good solution, but we do have something to get around the issue. I am having the exact same problem, along with many others at my company. I just found out my Building Systems is doing the same thing. I have tried repairing and reinstalling ADT with no luck. The image will come over if I go to a drawing, list the blocks, and drag a block from another drawing to the tool palette using Design Center. As I mentioned, this only happens with blocks placed on a palette from the Design Center Custom tab. When I bring the block onto the palette, the image/icon shows, but the description is just "Multi view Block" not the name of the block in Design Center. When I use the tool to insert the block into my drawing, it appears to come in fine, and I can even drag that block to my tool palette. I can insert it, view its properties, but I have no "picture" on the palette of what the block looks like. Whenever I drag and drop a block from the Design Center Custom tab to my ADT tool palette, the tool comes over, but no image/icon with the tool. I have put content from drawings, Content Browser, and Design Center on it. I am creating a custom tool palette in ADT 2005.
